Snail mail, e-mail whatever it is…it’s still the same, MAILS!

SNAIL MAIL :

By the word itself, ’snail’ : slow-moving…hehe! emoticon letters carried by postal delivery services. (an envelope plus stamps…) It’s comonly used in reference to ‘penpalling’ (used to practice writing and reading in foreign language, improving literacy, to learn more other countrie, the people and their cultures) It is through the postal system. And it will take days, weeks or even a month before u receive the letter that has been sent to you (it depends on either the aircraft carrier or whatever type of shipment your letter has been carried by…) As far as i can remember, it took a week before my Korean friend received my letter. About 2 weeks that my Malaysian friend received the package plus the letter i sent her. And it took about almost a month that my Italian friend received my letter as well as my Jamaican friend and another penfriend from Greece. That’s how long you’ll wait before your penfriends read your mail.

EMAIL :

The opposite to snail mail. E-mail is short for ‘Electronic mail’. It is a store and forward method of composing, sending, storing, and receiving messages over electronic communication systems.

If mailing letters using the snail mail system that will take days, weeks or even a month before the recipient receive ur mailed letter, it’s different when u are using the e-mail system cause it will just take seconds…so fast, faster than a speeding bullet, hehe emoticon and u can even chat with ur friend on-line. That’s how fast it is. The most common server…yahoo.com; google; hotmail-msn, etc…It is more convenient, cheaper (than the snail mail, cause you’ll have to pay for the stamps) and faster. Bottle Cleaning

Fill with small balls of steel wool and soap suds. A few brisk shakes and they are sparkling. To remove odors, fill with hot water and 1 teaspon bicarbonate soda. Leave for two hours.

Storing Leftovers

Store small amounts of leftovers in disposable cups. If you don’t eat them before they spoil, toss them - container and all.

Shining Floor

Keep the floor shining by adding some sour milk to the rinse water when you wash the floor; it will give any vinyl or linoleum floor a shine.

Light Bulbs

Put a drop of light oil (sewing machine oil, etc) on the threaded base of light bulb before you screw it in. This will prevent the bases from getting stuck when it’s time to unscrew them. You know what a hassle it is when you twist the glass right off, leaving the base welded in the socket. Aluminum-based bulbs are especially vulnerable. If you have the choice, get bulbs with brass bases. they’re far less likely to get stuck.

Brick Floors

Dust them with a push broom, dry mop, or vacuum cleaner. Wash with a sponge water. Rinse and wipe dry. For a very dirty floor use one ounce of sodium hydro-sulphite (sold in drugstore as color remover) dissolve in one gallon of water. Waxing is optional.

CALAMITIES & ACCIDENTS

Tagedy:

Everyday it’s always in the news about some terible events that happen…disaster strikes : car accidents, mostly because of a drunk driver; plane crash because of an engine failure; ship sinks because of floods…washed-out houses because of hurricane and tornados. Fire alarms because of short circuit. These are just some accidents and calamities that happen and we hear from the news everyday aside from corruption, plolitics, oil price increase and war.

Sometimes, these calamities are man-made calamities. Because of the people who are very insensitive enough of the environment, things turned out to be worst…illegal-logging is just one of the main cause why there are some places suffer from floods. Garbage is also one of the causes. For accidents, it’s also because of people. With a high speed run in a slippery - wet road causes some of car accidents and the most problem of all is drunk-driving. This happen in most teenagers. Overloaded is also one cause why a ship sinks. And engine failure why there’s a plane crash. And for some, most specially here in the Philippines, because of being irresponsible, there are things left unattended like irons and candles…is just one common problem why there are houses burned. And these are just a few of some disaster - problems that we know everyday.

HAIY-HAIR!!!

RATTAIL…

A rattail is a style of haircut that is a long tail of hair growing from the back of the head. A fashionable hairstyle in the late 80’s and early 90’s. It’s either braided, or treated as dread, straightened or curled with iron. I once had it because of Taylor Hanson, hehe but it took only months…had to cut it out cause it turned out to be not successful enough cause the strands of my rattail just falls out until the time that i can already count it…

COLORED!

There are naturally black hair commonly in Asian and African countries. Blonde, some parts in Europe and North America and as well as Brunettes, and naturally brown hairs. And plus redheads, hehe. But colored hairs are the ones that’s called experimental hairs…styllish and fashionable for some. Experimenting hair colors is cool for some people but not too good for some because of having to deal with dry hair and or damaged hair. There are some who are sensitve to hair colors that as a result they get a dull hair.

Just a note! by: names

Hey! How’s your name? eMpTy here askin…just nothing, a note to drop for this next post on my blog, hehe! What is the meaning of your name? what’s it’s origin?, haha You can find a list of names in the computer nowadays that you wouldn’t have to worry about having to think of some names but the problem is that it’s so confusing to choose even just one.
