Nobody’s perfect, oh yes! And nobody has no problem at all, i guess…haha. The problem is that the problem itself, sounds confusing huh, well it is if this is one really big problem to you then it would really mean a problem. Sometimes, there are so simple things that people see it so complicated and that would make it a problem. And sometimes those complicated things has been or is extended to a much complicated thing that would make it a big, confusing problem. So a problem itself would make a problem. Do you have a problem with this? I dunno the answer but this could either make a problem to ones problem for that by only thinking of what’s the matter with me writing this kind of post or just don’t care about this cause you have a problem of your own to solve, hehe.

A problem is a problem itself. We are locked up as to how we can solve our problem and thinking about that makes it a problem already because it’s a problem to how we find ways to solve the problem/problems we are facing but in some cases, there are problems that are so simple and quick to solve but we turn on to other people for help just to solve it. This would not seem to be a problem anymore to us but for the person that you asked for help, this would mean a problem to them because they are the ones who will be thinking of what right way to do to help solve the problem.

Well, the problem is the problem. It may be so easy to solve it or so difficult to deal with it, it will always mean a problem. It depends on you on how you will face it,  with a SMILE or with a problimatic face, ouch! But always remember when there’s a problem, there’s always a solution…there’s no problem that cannot be solved, whether it may take years and years to find a solution to that problem but in any problem, you’ll see you’ll be able to solve it then. Just have faith, determination and courage to face ones problem and take it as a challenge to face a brighter tomorrow and be ready for a better you!

One of the daily questions asked is how much. Right?

When you buy foods, milk or anything that you needed for your family you asked… how much does this cost? Or how much would i bring to have all this things listed be bought? How much would i pay for?

When you are interviewed for a job or when you get the job that you are praying for even when you are seeking for a job, one of the questions asked is always… how much would i get? or How much would my salary be? or How much would they pay? And another question when you are already working…how much would my net income be? With a lot of deductions most specially here in the Philippines, the question is how much would i pay for the taxes for example…How much would i pay for the insurance? Or how much would the deductions be for my SSS and/or PhilHealth for example? How much would i receive after the deductions? You render your services and you’ll get paid for it and how much?

Whether you have your own car or you commute…the question always is how much? How much would i bring to fill up my tank? Or how much would i pay for my fare? And whether the oil price increases or not, there’s always how much? How much would they add since the oil price increased or how much would they deduct? How much would i pay for then…?

In school…how much is the tuition fee? or How much is the tuition fee increase? How much would i need to bring to buy for my things in school like books, notebooks, etc…how much would i pay for?… and with the usual question of the students…how much is my allowance? if there’s an increase, how much would i get then? 

For the parents most specially mothers, the question is how much would my budget be for the things that we needed? How much would i pay for the bills, the tuition and other expenses and the savings?

For the government, how much would they take for the taxes? How much would the people need to pay for other things that they need to settle about… like for the business permit for example, the clearances, the insurances…etc. And even worst for those in a hurry and does not want to take the hassle of falling in line…how much would i pay for the fixer then?

For the the business people…how much would i need to invest for this business? How much would i earn? How much would i pay for my employees, for the rent or place that my business is located? How much would i prepare to have to buy the things we need for this business? How much would i have to have?

It’s always how much? and How much? How much would a how much be? … it’s just how much?

for the parents :

for your child to be involved in a band that gigs every night (4 days a week) or for your child be involved with an international on-line game competition that needs to be playing on-line games during schooldays.

for your child be involved in sports but only those mental challenges no physical challenges or be in a physical game but had to deal with a lot of pains most specially like those bruises…

for your child to be involved with social issues like be an activist or for your child be involved with having to fight for someone’s rights and principles like be a rebel.

for your child to hold a gun for a competition or your child to be a racer with a lot of fears to be prepared about like accidents…

for your child to be a politician or to be somebody active in church.

for a child not to say the truth to protect a very sick-dying friend and just found out that he/she passed the bar exam or  a life saver but your child’s life will be at risk that to whom will be graduating as a cum laude.

as for you…..which would you rather choose…

to be deaf but sees everything that is happening (you can still have your hands to write everything that happened which you saw) …or to be blind but can hear clearly what’s going on (your ears then are so sensitive and you have your voice to say what you heard…)

to be dumb but eager to learn more and that is ok when mistakes are made and move on or to be smart and wanting to earn more but will blame anybody for the mistakes that you yourself did…and will be disturbed of that mistake.

to have wings but can’t fly higher and isn’t free or to have a phone or cellphone but could not receive or transmit messages most specially important ones.

to be a prosecutor but you are prosecuted or to be psychiatrist but you get insane.

If there’s only 2 choices, which would you choose?

to be old but strong or to be young but weak

to die young with integrity or to live long with guilt.

and the usual choices…to be beautiful but dumb or to be ugly but smart.

to be rich but corrupt but to be poor but hardworking.

to be educated but no manners or to have no education but have the ability to face what life has to offer…

to be rich but can’t give a little or to be poor but can be able to share…

and/or pretending to be someone else to be popular/famous but with fake friends or to be just you and just somebody regular but have those true friends.

Now it’s on you to choose which of these 2

I’ve always been surrounded by smart people, and way so difficult for me but i learned a lot of things from them.  From simple things to more complicated things.  It’s difficult in the sense that i’ve always been compared to them but i don’t take things as seriously then compared to them. When they need to solve a problem, they’re not gonna stop until they got that perfect solution. I’m actually blessed to have them cause i got the chance to use my brains, hehe…well, it is because when there are things that i need to know about that they are experts of, they just give me information that i needed to know and just let me discover what’s next…they have the brain, i guess i have the ability and put them together, we have that strength…i don’t know what i’m talking about now so moving on with the topic…can smart people be dumb or idiot?

As far as i learned…yes, they can be!

Smart people can be dumb or idiot because they tend to be over confident. They know so well their abilities and strengths but sometimes they forgot to see other people’s strengths and abilities too. They are way to confident to face each problem cause they know they can solve it well and quick but they tend to forget that there are people who can do also better than them and can move quicker than them that’s why they lose their patience and try to blame themselves why they lose in any competition they joined in for example.

Well, it’s an existing story most specially for the youth that they can be parents, facing big responsibilities in a young age or even be involve with drugs, violence or other social issues involving the youth most specially.

They can even be as dumb or idiot when they kill themselves, to commit suicide just because of one simple problem like if they fail from what has been expected of them or to what they expect to achieve. They can even go insane because they don’t wanna stop until they can defeat somebody…

I’m no psychologist, not even somebody who’s smart…but this is how my opinion is why smart people can be dumb or idiot. It’s up to you to react … 

These are just some reasons why i think smart people can be dumb or idiot. What do you think? Can smart people be dumb or idiot? It’s all up to you to say your piece… these smart ones have a lot of encouragement and achievements, it’s not only through them that they get involved with a lot of things whether it may bad or good but most of all through people too surrounding them. Days pass so fast…and a nation is extremely in tough path. Economic situations, political discussion, money matters and more…what else should we face for and be prepared about…natural calamities and even in families, these problems totally exist. So how’s life with all of these…

It’s just like a candle-lighted. In one way you are guided but on the other way it seems life is way too short for you to accomplish what you wish for in life to achieve. Over flowing the time has passed, so many things has been wasted like this candle flow, melted so fast…you just realized then everything around you has changed. May this be bad or good, it seems everything else just falls so fast like how simple it is like watching this candle (above pic) it may be just an ordinary object but look deeper, it signifies how life lies in one way…

A cactus, this may look pretty cute with a little pink-touch, but you can’t just hold it so quick cause you might say ouch! , hehe…but life is sometimes or most of the times in rough roads. You can’t finish a thing without having to feel pain. Whether its emotional, or spiritual or even worst physical. You just have to be gentle and fair, and understand the power of patience and determination…you just have to show that no matter how little it is, you can achieve big! So how’s life with this?

Oooppsssss!…this is one thing that most of us (in the Philippines) is actually dealing with, the electricity bill. The electric meter…just a plain object that isn’t that expensive if we have to campare it with the calculation of how much we should pay for… how many ‘kWh’ did we able to use and how much does it cost? With whats goin on in our economy right now, the world crisis?… this is one thing that we should be saving for…POWER! Electricity-light and by this we can also save money! Just have to be wise enough then… and how’s life then if ever we lost our connection?… let’s see!

And this is how life is,  for most of us… to deal with surviving life,  and what lies ahead… Heavy burden is expected. But no matter what, even so hard, still remains a spirit that calls us to fight and live life to whatever it is that we are facing. On this pic is a vegetable vendor who sells her vegetables house to house carrying a basin full of vegetables. This isn’t easy for her cause its not just that she’s walking in a hot hot weather but also carrying a heavy thing on top of her head. This is what survival is to her. In just a few cents for these vegetables she’ll be happy then that she can send her kids to school and have a 3 x a day meal, at least. Now how’s life to you now with this kind of existing truth? Just then…, how’s life?

Poverty is one of the the biggest problem that we are facing now and for some countries it is the reason why it branches out to other problems…for some, the government is the reason why… and for some, being over populated is another reason they can think of.  Economic situation is also one factor that’s being considered…with all these things that has been going on, it boils out to one big problem, "Poverty".

Poverty.  Because of this, some are forced to do illegal acts just to survive. Drug pusher is one of those…some deal with kidnapping, carnapping, snatching and a lot more serious problems.

For the Government…it is for some because of corruption that’s why there are people suffering from poverty. Economic situation is also one thing to be considered. Oil price increase is one of the reason why…and over population is another problem to be considered too why there is poverty.

When can we stop poverty? What can we do to stop this and how can we put an end to this? It’s about us being concerned and aware of having this problem…and it’s also on us to help out.

whew!too many to collect….too many to pay for! Ouch, that hurts…from the candies we buy to the bills we pay and even to the things that we need the most, it has it’s price…they collect additional amount of money and isn’t that too much? You pay too much of what should supposed to be paid for…Taxes! taxes! TAXES!!!

Downgrading the Rating of the Philippine Aviation means hurting our economy…this is just one of the problems that our country is facing right now.

This has been a long-overdued problem as what my friend said who’s an aeronautics engineer working in Singapore. He said that it’s time for the Philippine government to act and be serious about this problem, that US agency was just right in downgrading the Philippine Aviation… (here’s a portion of the letter he sent to me…)

"Sad to say, regarding in your inquiry… it is an old issue that the Phil
Government keep on ignoring it. Thanks to the US Govt now our govt needs to
act regarding this issue but how long our govt will become sincere about
this?"

From Category 1 down to category 2, ouch! what is happening now? With this problem, i know our tourism indutry will surely be affected.

And here’s another serious matter that we are all facing now, the ZTE Broadband Deal - Controversy.

With the Senate hearing that is on-going…(as of 02/11/08) and the people involved most specially some government officials, corruption is another problem that’s been discussed today after Rodolfo Noel Lozada Jr. exposed everything he knows as eyewitness in the ZTE Broadband deal.

Whew!  With these problems that the Philippine Government is facing now, we the citizens of this country is totally deeply affected then. When will this issues about the Government stop? Well for me, I have no idea…but i know there’s always a solution to these problems, it’s only up to the people to know what it is exactly, hehe…ouch! Seriously speaking, it’s a serious problem that everyone should be aware about. And that everyone should be involved in their own way possible.

One of the most difficult problem that the entertainment industry (music/movies) is facing right now is piracy…and one of the major producers of these pirated discs are chinese. In the Philippines, the most caught sellers of these pirated discs are muslims.

Why waste ur money buying an original DVD or VCD or CD  when u can buy a 100 pesos DVD with a lot of movies to select from. It’s cheaper right?  But then again, having to deal with pirated disc, you are not sure of the quality plus as they say "it’s considered as a stolen item/good…". And the most serious problem about this problem is that, it’s already difficult for some actors/artists and producers most specially to produce another album-music/movie if they can’t gain anything or that they will lose what they’ve invested. Because of this, the entertainment industry might die. And because of this too, there a lot of people will lose their job. But come to think of it, it’s not only piracy that’s a problem concerning these piracy thing cause if we have to study further, our muslim brothers and sisters who are selling some of these illegal goods are also affected. And one reason there is discrimination. What is discrimination has something to do with this problem? Most of our muslim brothers and sisters suffer from discrimination. Since they are muslim, a lot of people see them as one of the terrorists…and because of these, there are a lot of muslims have no decent job to land in. And because of this, they are pushed to do illegal things, like of selling pirated discs for them to survive. We have to be open to every bit of things that has been going on. Not only that we have to stick to one problem that’s been all over the news but we should also dig deep, deeper to see the real problem of each problem. Of course, it’s not an easy thing to do but if we only have that cooperation, everything will be possible.

Tagedy:

Everyday it’s always in the news about some terible events that happen…disaster strikes : car accidents, mostly because of a drunk driver; plane crash because of an engine failure; ship sinks because of floods…washed-out houses because of hurricane and tornados. Fire alarms because of short circuit. These are just some accidents and calamities that happen and we hear from the news everyday aside from corruption, plolitics, oil price increase and war.

Sometimes, these calamities are man-made calamities. Because of the people who are very insensitive enough of the environment, things turned out to be worst…illegal-logging is just one of the main cause why there are some places suffer from floods. Garbage is also one of the causes. For accidents, it’s also because of people. With a high speed run in a slippery - wet road causes some of  car accidents and the most problem of all is drunk-driving. This happen in most teenagers. Overloaded is also one cause why a ship sinks. And engine failure why there’s a plane crash. And for some, most specially here in the Philippines, because of being irresponsible, there are things left unattended like irons and candles…is just one common problem why there are houses burned.  And these are just a few of some disaster - problems that we know everyday.
